Europe’s only bridal fashion show for African Caribbean brides and grooms, and family members took place on Sunday 29th March at the luxurious Holiday Inn Bloomsbury – London.
The Mahogany Bridal Fashion Show in association with Pride Magazine, ITZ Caribbean & Top Model of Colour (TMC) is now in its 13th year and has grown from strength to strength. The fashion show and mini bridal exhibition attracted over 800 guests from across Europe, which included most things that a bride needs for her wedding day; from decorative features such as chocolate or champagne fountains, to photography and menswear.
There were two fashion shows featuring an array of retail and fashion designs, such as African inspired wedding dresses by G-Seow, made to order Couture bridal gowns by Clariscia Gill, menswear by Anthony Formalwear and African attire from Sierra Leone by Nyanga.
Chief Executive Sola Oyebade of the Mahogany Group commented: “Every year Mahogany tries to raise the bar and do something different and this year was the first time that we had a show that specifically catered to fashion needed for the bridal party.“
The next Mahogany Bridal Show will be in October and will be a more tradition bridal show catering on all things that the brides needs for her wedding day under one roof.
The Mahogany Bridal Fashion Show is organised by produced & choreographed by Mahogany Productions who also own the Top Model of Colour Competition and Mahogany Models Modelling Agency.
